Temporary files that delete themselves on close.

Ported from internal/tempfile/tempfile.go. Not yet implemented.

Ported from ensureDirExists. mkdir is a parameter so tests can model the host filesystem, same as the Go version’s injected mkdir func(string, os.FileMode) error.
