Module driver

Module driver

Source
Expand description

Port of internal/cluster/interface.go, internal/cluster/domain.go, and internal/cluster/errors.go: the Driver trait every cluster backend implements, plus the shared status/error types.

Modules§

auto
Port of internal/cluster/auto/driver.go: an “auto” driver that resolves to colima or k3d depending on the host OS, so cluster.driver: auto in caproni.yaml picks a sensible default per platform.
colima
Port of internal/cluster/colima/driver.go: a super::Driver implementation using Colima as the backend.
external
Port of internal/cluster/external/driver.go: a super::Driver implementation that adopts an already-running Kubernetes cluster through an existing kubeconfig context, rather than provisioning one.
k3d
Port of internal/cluster/k3d/driver.go and internal/cluster/k3d/ports.go: a super::Driver implementation using k3d as the backend.
mock
Port of internal/cluster/mock/driver.go: a mock super::Driver implementation for testing. This module is intended for use in tests only and should not be depended on by production code.
vcluster
Port of internal/cluster/vcluster/driver.go and internal/cluster/vcluster/errors.go: a super::Driver implementation that runs a vcluster (virtual cluster) inside a host cluster’s namespace.

Structs§

DomainSource
Port of cluster.DomainSource: one place a cluster can be asked for the DNS zone it serves.
Status
Port of cluster.Status.

Enums§

DriverError
Port of internal/cluster/errors.go.
State
Port of cluster.State.

Traits§

DnsReader
Port of cluster.DNSReader: the slice of a kubectl backend that DNS-zone sources read through.
Driver
Port of cluster.Manager: the interface every cluster driver implements.
